Well-Strung’s new CD entitled POPssical just debuted at #8 on Billboards Classical Crossover Chart and #9 on Billboards Classical Chart.

The NY Times raved about Well-Strung by calling them “a talented quartet of men who sing and play string instruments – got its start in Provincetown and brilliantly fuses pop and classical music from Madonna to Beethoven”. They recently made their second appearance on The TODAY Show this past October with Kathie Lee & Hoda and the foursome has quickly gained international attention playing in London, Rome and Vienna as well as selling out venues all across the United States.

They recently performed at the DNCs Gala in NYC honoring President Obama. Last July they performed for Secretary Hillary Clinton after their video “Chelsea’s Mom” went viral. They have also appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and performed with artists like Kristin Chenoweth, Audra McDonald, and Neil Patrick Harris.

The quartet features Edmund Bagnell (first violin), Christopher Marchant (second violin), Daniel Shevlin (cello) and Trevor Wadleigh (viola). Well-Strung was founded by producer Mark Cortale and Christopher Marchant.
